What I wear as my protective styles? I wear wigs, braids and twist-outs. I wear wigs during the winter months while my real hair is braided to give it a rest minimizing manipulation; that lasts only five days until pre-shampoo time. During the summer months, I wear my hair in twist-outs as well as braid-outs for style purposes, sometimes I would try other fun styles like bantu knots and knot-outs. I enjoy versatile hairstyles from wigs to wearing my own hair, since I have a versatile personality, one who likes to do and try different things.

My Hair Regimen & Peppermint OIl
Today I have shampooed my hair and deep conditioned after a pre-shampoo conditioning with the organic virgin coconut oil that was left in my hair overnight. I applied the Giovanni Moisture Direct Leave-in conditioner and sat under a cool dryer for a full hour, and allowed the rest of my hair to air dry afterwards. Later this evening, I used a nightly moisture and seal with the Neutrogena Triple Moisturizing leave in and sealed with the coconut oil. In the past, I have suffered damaged hair including breakage until I began taking very good care of it with the use of anti-breakage reconstructors and moisturizing treatments; where I now experience less shedding, but no breakage. My hair is stronger and healthier, yet I still have to trim my ends from time to time to minimize split ends. My current length is now BSB approaching BSL due to the hard work of caring for my hair and I am using peppermint oil for my edges as well as a scalp treatment.
Peppermint is the real follicle booster based on my use, it really had did wonders for my edges. It has given my scalp this cool tingly feeling throughout the night that would last up to the next day. Since the use of this peppermint oil, my hair has been growing alot, I would combine the peppermint with the rosemary oil and it does great wonders. This is my current regimen and it is working very well for me, no heavy oils that clogs my scalp but rather, essential oils that helps circulate my scalp encouraging hair growth.
