Protein & Moisture Regimen

Following my shampoo and moisture and protein conditioning, I applied the following leave-ins to my newly relaxed hair:  

~ Paul Mitchell's Lite Detangler Spray.

~ A combination of Giovanni's Direct Leave-in Weightless Moisture Conditioner & Salerme21 protein leave-in.

~ And last, Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum as a anti-frizz and sealant.

Shampoo and conditioners I use, is the Joico brand because of its low ph level; in addition to Chelating shampoo for the purpose to eliminate minerals from hard water from my hair, so moisture shampoos and conditioners can work effectively. 

 During the past few months, my hair at the ends has been looking fuller and healthier due to recent trims and proper maintenance.  In the evening, I would moisturize my hair with the Avlon's Keracare Overnight Moisturizing treatment; where I apply a very small amount to the ends sections and the nape and hairline area.  Afterwards, I would wear a silk scarf on my head to keep the moisture sealed in.

Lip Shade Of Today

Lipstick I wore today was Guerlain G Rouge 65 Grenade.  Gorgeous color for summer, it gives off a sparkling shine while in the sunlight.  The casing is just as pretty with a tiny mirror on the inside, so convenient, it is worth the price I paid.

Lip Shade Of The Day

My lip shade of today, was Dior's Fireworks 756; a pretty fiery satin red lip color.  Nice shade to match my warm and neutral color outfits.

MAC's Frenzy

I decided to stop by the Atlantic Terminal to shop for some items.  There at the mall, I decided to stop at MAC to purchase a frost lipstick to replace my old Marykay's Mocha Freeze.  I found a shade that was a dupe for the Mocha Freeze and that was MAC's High Strung, the only problem, it was out of stock. With the help of the assistant who works at MAC, she was able to find another shade that matches the Mocha Freeze.  That shade was Frenzy, it was a closer match to the MK Mocha Freeze; I made two purchases, one was MAC Red that had a satin finish, and Frenzy.  

I'll be trying my new lip colors very soon, as you can see, I'm a lipstick junkie; I like trying every lip shade of any brand, especially if they are of good quality which is important to me.  Well it was nice blogging, have a good night.

NARS Tinted Moisturizer

Today, while I was prepping for workday,I applied my new NARS Tinted Moisturizer to my face followed by finishing powder.  

I must say, that I was impressed with this tinted moisturizer; it made my face look matte and flawless, as if I was wearing foundation. I purchased the moisturizer from Sephora, the shade I selected was, Annapurna since it blended almost perfectly with my skin tone.  It was light and not heavy, a perfect wear summer time when it's hot and humid, because the SPF ingredient protects your skin.

I would purchase this product again once my supply runs low; I'm truly impressed with this tinted moisturizer.

NARS Dragon Girl

Yesterday, I received my shipment of NARS Dragon Girl Velvet Matte Lip Pencil that I ordered online.  For the past two weeks, I've went to NARS flagship stores and Sephora and was unsuccessful in finding that lip pencil.  I've contacted Lord & Taylor and other stores that carried NARS' products; only to be told they were out.  So as a last resort, I went online to the NARS website, and placed an order. This lip pencil must be very popular among other lip shades, since it was so hard to find in stores that carries NARS products.

My New Collections For Summer To Match My New Wardrobe

 

BH Palettes, NARS & MAC

Yesterday evening, I received my shipment of the BH Cosmetics, plus make up tools and I must say that I'm overjoyed.  I will now be using my new eye palettes with my NARS and MAC collections including foundation and lip colors.    I've replaced my old Marykay lipsticks and eye shadows with my new collections; it's time for a change.

Trying Out My New Purchase Of Lip colors

Matte shades are my all time favorites, I purchase these shades from Sephora & Century 21: NARS Vesuvio, Mascate, Valparaiso; Cruella Velvet Matte Lip Pencil and MAC Ruby Woo.  In addition, I purchased the Marc Jacobs #10 Makeout Lip Lock Moisture Balm and Bite Beauty's Line & Define Lip Primer.  I would apply the primer over my lip balm in preparation of applying one of my lip shades.  

I can't wait to start wearing my new shades!
